Water aerobics and water fitness can have amazing positive effects on your health, fitness and well-being!

Exercising in water helps you to stay fit using the resistance of the water to increase the intensity of your workout without putting stress on your joints.  The buoyancy provided by the water creates a low-impact environment and reduces the effect of gravity on your body allowing you to move more freely.

Our instructors motivate you during the class guiding you with quality instruction to ensure you exercise at a safe, but challenging level to achieve your goals.

There are a variety of  water aerobic and water fitnesss classes, each offering something different accommodating for all ages and abilities.  All our classes are fun and engaging with easy-to-follow moves in shallow (or deep if preferred) water. 

Classes are held in our purpose-built hydrotherapy pool that is heated to a consistent 34oC all year round.

You don’t have to be a swimmer to enjoy AquaFit classes – Come along and give them a try!

AQUA FIT

Aqua Fit is a fast-paced resistance training class, uses repetitive movements that tone and train the muscles. This cardio class incorporates HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) with great music to move to.  Resistance movements are also incorporated into the routine to work on strength and toning.

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels as low, medium and high impact options are offered. 

AQUA FLEX

This class offers more challenging strength, range of movement, and core workouts in a structured circuit. Circuit training is a fun way to incorporate exercises that target major muscle groups.  Weights such as aqua-dumbells, aqua-barbells, resistance bands, and other exercise equipment are also used in the class.

Suitable for anyone looking for a fun social way to work out while focusing on strength, core, tone, and range of movement exercises.

AQUA STS

AquaFlex STS is a Strength, Tone, and Stretch class formatted in a self-paced circuit.

It is designed to improve strength, muscle tone, flexibility, and mobility, to allow individuals to achieve their fitness goals at their own level.

AQUA MASH

AquaMash is a mixed genre dance/movement class created for individuals to move in a way that feels good for them.

A feel-good, mind and body class as much for mental health as physical.
