We welcome NDIS Participants

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that provides support for people with disabilities in Australia. As part of this program, individuals with autism may be eligible for funding to gym-based exercise and therapy. This funding can be used to cover the costs of specialized gym and exercise instruction for individuals with autism, as well as any related equipment or accommodations that may be necessary. To find out more about the NDIS and how it can support individuals with autism, you can visit the NDIS website or contact the NDIS directly.

The Gymclusion program can align with your NDIS plan goal.  We can work with you to help you stretch your NDIS budget further.

There are several ways that an NDIS client might pay for their invoices, but only two ways are available at Gymclusion:

Self-Managed

The client manages their own NDIS plan. They will pay for all of their appointments out of their own pocket, and claim the money back from the NDIS themselves. Self-managed clients are to be treated the same as private paying clients, and they should pay for their appointments on the day.

Plan-Managed

A third-party agency manages the NDIS plan for the client. We send an invoice directly to the third party for payment to be made via EFT. Payment will be deposited in to the bank account and will be receipted in the Nookal system by the manager once it has been paid.

Please note: Gymclusion is not currently registered to provide services to Agency-Managed clients.

Swimclusion, as part of Adelaide Hydrotherapy, is now proudly recognised by Autism SA as an Autism friendly organisation. The Charter has helped Adelaide Hydrotherapy build capacity, inclusivity, understanding and awareness of the autism spectrum through guidance and awareness training. Autism Swim is the only certifying body specific to autism and aquatics worldwide. Autism Swim and Swimclusion work closely to deliver the best possible outcomes for the swimmers within our service. Our staff receive training, resources and support in order to understand the differing needs and wants of the swimmers with other abilities; and to teach them in a way that is most conducive to their needs. We have the made the ongoing commitment to education, and we are confident that this resonates in the work that we are undertaking with our swimmers. For more information about Autism Swim, please their website.
