NDIS Services at Adelaide Active Rehab & Therapy

Adelaide Active Rehab & Therapy delivers Adelaide based Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy  services to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants and are funded under the ‘Improved Health and Wellbeing’ and/or ‘Improved Daily Living’ categories of your NDIS Capacity Building Supports budget.  Because both of these are in different funding categories, you can potentially include both in your NDIS Plan. 

Our clinical team has extensive experience working with clients and families with disabilities and a range of developmental and musculoskeletal conditions. 

NDIS participants are a large part of our clientele and they get to see the positive effects exercise has on people living with a disability.  Specifically, in relation to pain management, improved function, and general enhancements in the quality of life.

We take our time to understand the impact your disability has on your health and function and develop a tailored plan to address your specific needs.

NDIS Referral

As an NDIS participant, you do not need a medical referral to access Excercise Physiology or Physiotherapy treatment with us.

NDIS Payment Options

The NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, provides financial support to individuals with disabilities in Australia. This support is provided in the form of funding, which can be used to pay for a variety of services and supports. These funding options, or payment options, allow individuals with disabilities to access the care and support they need to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

There are several ways that an NDIS client might pay for their invoices, but only two ways are available at Adelaide Active Rehab & Therapy.

Self-Managed

The client manages their own NDIS plan. They will pay for all of their appointments out of their own pocket, and claim the money back from the NDIS themselves. Self managed clients are to be treated the same as private paying clients, and they should pay for their appointments on the day.

Plan-Managed

A third-party agency manages the NDIS plan for the client. We send an invoice directly to the third party for payment to be made via EFT. Payment will be deposited into the bank account and will be receipted in the Nookal system by the manager once it has been paid.

The third way that NDIS plans are managed is by the NDIS Agency directly. These clients are referred to as “Agency Managed”, and the business requests payment directly from the NDIS.

Please note: Adelaide Active Rehab & Therapy is not currently registered to provide services to Agency Managed clients.
